Silverthorne’s newest restaurant brings made-from-scratch food and handcrafted cocktails to town

Published October 30, 2019

If you’re looking for an elevated brunch and dinner restaurant in Silverthorne, look no further than Silverthorne’s newest restaurant, Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails. Owners Tanecia and Joe Spagnolia are opening the new restaurant in the Green Village at the Outlets at Silverthorne and will offer everyday brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to close.

Featuring a made-from-scratch menu created by Executive Chef Nick Mozealous, Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails will focus on New American cuisine. The dinner menu will have sharable small plates, along with several large plates and salad options. The bar will feature a wide range of Colorado craft beer, handcrafted cocktails, and wines by the glass. During brunch, the restaurant will be serving up mimosas and brunch cocktails, along with Bloody Mary’s using Tree Line Bloody Mary mix, a mix produced and distributed by the restaurants owners.

“Our concept is focused on Colorado products and producers, both in our food and bar menu,” said Tanecia. “The restaurant has modern rustic décor and our goal is to have an upscale lively social atmosphere.” Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails is using this focus on Colorado products and suppliers to set the restaurant apart from other Summit County restaurants.

A brand new restaurant is not the only thing new to the Spagnolia’s. The couple moved to Summit County in early 2019 because of their love for the mountains, the outdoors and all the great activities that come with them.

“We both love this community, the people, events, and the support for small businesses is like nothing I’ve ever experienced living in a big city,” said Tanecia.

When not working on the brand new restaurant or their Tree Line Bloody Mary mix, the Spagnolia’s like to hike the trails around Buffalo Mountain or bike along the Blue River Trail. In the winter, they enjoy snowshoeing in the woods after a fresh snow to soak up the serenity of our mountain surroundings before settling into their new home and new business.

Slated to open on November 7, Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails is sharing a special peek inside their new digs at the First Friday Silverthorne Stroll. Stop by during the evening of Friday, November 1 for a Chef’s choice of small plates, cocktails, beer, and wine.

Welcome to Silverthorne, Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails!
