Published October 10, 2017

While you may not have a Halloween costume yet, reminders are creeping up all around us to make sure we know the winter holidays are just around the corner. Don’t stress! The Silverthorne Recreation Center has some wonderful programming to keep us happy and healthy throughout the season. Here are just a couple highlights.

Holiday Trimmings at the Silverthorne Rec Center

This P.A.N.T.S. (Physical Activity Nutrition Team of Summit) county-wide sponsored challenge will keep you motivated throughout the holiday season where the average person can put on five to seven pounds. Sign up with friends, co-workers or family to form groups of two to six people. Teams weigh in before Thanksgiving and have to maintain total team weight through January 2. P.A.N.T.S. sends weekly helpful hints and team challenges along the way.

Holiday Bazaar at the Town Pavilion

On Saturday, Dec. 12 from 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. the Holiday Bazaar will take over Silverthorne’s beautiful Town Pavilion with handmade wares from all your favorite local artists and craftspeople.
