Silverthorne Development Update: Final Site Plan Submitted for Fourth Street Crossing

As 2019 gets underway, Silverthorne’s most noted development projects are moving full steam ahead with some exciting milestones on the horizon. Milender White, the development team behind Fourth Street Crossing, recently submitted its final site plan to the Town of Silverthorne. Based on past Council feedback, the team made a few adjustments to initial plans, most notably in the architecture, which now has a more unique, mountain-modern feel; the programming has not changed. The final plan will go through another review with Town staff, a second hearing before the Planning Commission …

Fourth Street Crossing

Late last month, Milender White submitted its Fourth Street Crossing Preliminary Site Plan to the Town of Silverthorne. As part of the planning process, the team hosted a community open house on July 12 that drew about 300 people. “We had an excellent turnout, and want to thank everyone who stopped by the event,” said Tim Fredregill, Development Executive for Milender White. “Once again, we had overwhelming support for the programming we currently have planned on the site.” Milender White’s site plan calls for a mixed-use development that is rooted in the Silverthorne …

It’s just weeks away from opening, and it seems like the entire town of Silverthorne is abuzz as it waits for the highly anticipated Angry James Brewery to tap its first keg. The Silverthorne Pulse thought it was the perfect time to connect with owner and brewmaster, AJ Brinkerhoff, to learn more about the vision for the area’s newest watering hole, and to ask the burning question that has been on everyone’s mind: Who is James? And, why is he so angry? The answer, Brinkerhoff laughed, isn’t that mysterious. James …

Performing Arts Center Enlivened with Colorful Mural

Last week artist Michael Graves from Denver set up shop outside the Performing Arts Center to paint a mural on the south facing wall of the outdoor stage. Michael’s work was recommended by the Art Selection Committee, approved by the Art Board, and funding was approved by Town Council for his colorful and whimsical project. The Town’s Arts and Culture Strategic Plan calls for art that’s diverse, welcoming, relaxed, creative, playful, colorful, adventurous and energized, which perfectly describes Michael’s work. Public art provides an opportunity for people to come together despite their …

Update on Fourth Street Crossing

Earlier this summer, Milender White unveiled design progress for the new Fourth Street Crossing development at a community open house in Silverthorne. Aiming to become the new “main street” of downtown Silverthorne, the proposal calls for a hotel, storefront retail, office space, a parking structure and residential units.
