Town of Silverthorne COVID-19 Test Results – Silverthorne Recreation Center Employee

Tuesday, March 17, 2020. The Town of Silverthorne was informed on Thursday, March 12, that a Silverthorne Recreation Center employee was being tested for COVID-19. The employee provided a sample for testing at a Grand County medical facility on March 12. The Town was informed today, March 17, of the result of that test, and the employee has tested presumptive positive for COVID-19. Monday, March 16, 2020. The Town of Silverthorne continues to closely monitor the rapidly evolving COVID-19 virus and its impacts on our mountain community. Friday, March 13, 2020. As announced Thursday, March 12, the Silverthorne Recreation Center is currently closed until further notice. The Town of Silverthorne was informed on Thursday that a Silverthorne Recreation Center employee is being tested for COVID-19. The town has not yet received an update on the COVID-19 test results. To maintain the priority of health and safety for our visitors and employees, the Town of Silverthorne closed the Silverthorne Recreation Center and does not have an estimated reopening date at this time.
