With Summit County’s latest public health order extending Level Red restrictions through January 19, the Town of Silverthorne has worked with Summit County Public Health and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to implement the 5 Star certified business variance program in our community. The 5 Star program requires businesses to implement safety measures beyond what is required by public health orders and guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19. Summit County Moves to Level Red

Summit County has been moved to Level Red: Severe Risk on the Colorado COVID-19 Dial Framework by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). The Level Red restrictions go into effect at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, with indoor dining restrictions beginning at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22. Level Red restrictions include: Personal gatherings: No gatherings among multiple households. High-risk populations: Very strongly advised to stay at home. Restaurants: Indoor dining closed. On a typical day, flashing red and blue lights heading toward your home is not exactly a welcomed sight.
