Valentine’s Comedy Show with Tom Papa, Feb. 14: With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom Papa is one of the top comedic voices in the country finding success in film, TV, radio, and podcasts, as well as on the live stage. A regular on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Conan,” Tom’s three-hour-long stand-up special, Human Mule, premiered on Amazon and Hulu on March 9, 2017. Tom is host of the hit podcast and SiriusXM show, Come to Papa, a weekly, hour-long show featuring Tom exploring the funny side of life, occasionally with guests like Mel Brooks, Ray Romano, Carl Reiner and Jerry Seinfeld.  This event will take place at the Silverthorne Pavilion on Thursday, February 14 from 7-10 p.m. To purchase tickets, click here.


PBR Pond Hockey Tournament and Après Ice Party, Feb. 15-17: Rated the best pond hockey tournament in the USA, the Pabst Blue Ribbon Pond Hockey Tournament will return to Silverthorne’s North Park Pond this President’s Day Weekend.  The Tournament is the largest pond hockey event west of the Mississippi, drawing 150 teams from across the U.S. and roughly 900 players from 45 states to Silverthorne. Spectator viewing for all games is free and open to the public. On Saturday, join the teams for a rockin’ après ice party at the Silverthorne Pavilion from 9:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. and hear live music from the always popular, 40 Ounces to Freedom, a Sublime cover band that features high energy music sure to entertain, and experience the legendary Hockey Hair Project contest. Country Western Dance at the Silverthorne Pavilion, Feb. 22 and Mar. 15: Join Country Western dance instructor, Michael “Tex” DeGarie, for dance lessons on one of Summit County’s largest dance floors. Lessons begin at 7 p.m. with open dance from 8-11 p.m. A cash bar will be available and attendees are encouraged to bring their own snack. Ticket are $5 at the door. All ages are welcome.


Welcome Spring With A Community Bon Fire at March’s First Friday Event, Mar. 1: March’s First Friday will bring the Silverthorne community together to celebrate spring with a community bon fire, all in the name of fire prevention. The event will be located across from Trent Park at the bottom of the Willowbrook Neighborhood from 5-8 p.m. Join your neighbors around the fire, listen to music, watch and participate in a live art project and enjoy food and drink.


Experience Silverthorne’s Second Annual Rail Jam During April’s First Friday Gathering, Apr. 5: Silverthorne will host its second annual live rail jam on the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center lawn. Watch as more than 40 semi-professional and amateur skiers and riders launch themselves off numerous rails, jumps and other park features. The event will include live music, food and drink.
