Each year, the Town purchases flowers and materials and contracts its landscaping services to spruce up the annual beds throughout the downtown area. The Town had already purchased flowers from Neils Lunceford last spring, but as the pandemic unfolded, its flower bed installation budget was shifted elsewhere. The brand new climate-controlled, three-story storage facility offers 4,449 units although they may not last long. Within weeks of opening, the storage facility leased half of the available units. The opening of the new facility coincides with Silverthorne’s population growth, says manager Kim Anderson.
